Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at The LaLit Ashok Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are immaculately clean and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Housekeeping Staff: Lead, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping associates to ensure efficient and effective performance in all cleaning tasks.

Room Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to hotel standards.

Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities. Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.

Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.

Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to uphold cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement. Address any deficiencies promptly and provide additional training as needed.

Guest Satisfaction: Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints related to housekeeping services. Take proactive steps to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Implement proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department of a hotel or similar establishment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
